Update

Life ~ I can hardly believe that the last time I updated was at the end of November. Here it is the end of February. Sheesh! Life has gotten extremely hectic. I have almost completed 4 courses since going back to school. I am enjoying it immensely. I do hate the time that it takes away from my family and my scrapping. I love that, after completing my degree, I will be able to help support my family.

Scrapping ~ Dawn aka Daybreak Scraps has been putting out some really great kits. Since school has been occupying the majority of my time my layouts have been getting done kind of late, but they have been getting done. Here are some of the previews from her most recent releases and my layouts. Don't forget to check out her store for other great kits.

Simply Scrappy Challenge

Hey Everyone! Holy moses it has been ages since I blogged. My life has gotten extremely busy since I decided to go back to school. Who knew it would take up that much of my time?!?!?!? Just kidding! I knew it was going to be an adjustment.

Jess aka Simply Scrappy has a challenge going on on her blog. It is a fabulous scraplift challenge with a chance to win! Jess was searching the gallery at Elemental Scraps and stumbled across a layout she loved! So what did she up and decide to do? She decided to use the layout as a challenge on her blog. All you need to do is lift the layout and email her your link to be entered to win a $5 coupon to her store. That's it! If you use Jess' products in your layout you could win an extra $5 coupon to her store. No joke! Head over to Jess' blog for all of the details! Below is the layout that you need to be lifting. Have fun!

A little sweet. . . a little spooky. . .

Happy Friday everyone! I am so glad it's the weekend. I have been working feverishly trying to get caught up on things and I'm still not. Enough about me and on to this weeks new releases for Dawn aka Daybreak Scraps.

Dawn has been working feverishly too. She has some amazing new kits out this weekend and a couple are some seriously sweet collabs she did for her guest spot at Sunshine Studios this month. She also has her October Color Play items for her store at Elemental Scraps. Told you she was a busy bee this week.

First she has her collab with Pink Reptile Designs called Sugar & Spice. This was such a fun kit to work with. I love the color palette, the chili peppers, flowers, papers, ribbons. The list could go on and on really. It is available at Sunshine Studios for the month of October.

Dawn also did another collab with Ellie Lash. Yep you read that right, Ellie Lash. It's a sweetly spook~tacular Halloween kit. It is full of spook~tacular elements for your trick or treaters. From is frightfully wonderful papers to its spook~ilicious bats, cats, witches, and witches pot. This kit is one you will use over and over.

Don't forget about Dawn's October Color Play at Elemental Scraps. Leaf It To Me is nothing but fall~tacular. It's great Autumn colors are perfect for scrapping those photos of your lil' ones outside playing in the leaves or of all the fall~tastic scenery. From the leaves changing colors to the leaves floating from the trees. Make sure you grab each piece to create a super great kit. Don't forget that each piece is only $1 for the first week.

Below are all of the previews for each kit and my layouts with each one of them.

October Color Play has arrived and other goodies too!

You read that right. It's time for October Color Play at Elemental Scraps. Jess aka Simply Scrappy has some fab new stuffs out too. I love the color play at Elemental Scraps and I really adore Jess's contribution. As you all know fall is here or about here. Jess has some beautiful elements and papers to scrap all of those fall~ish photos perfectly. I love her papers and the elements are so versatile that they can be used for so many different layouts other than those of fall. Truly beautiful stuff.

Jess also has a regular new release out. Dirt Don't Hurt is perfect for all of those boys and girls who love to get out and get dirty. I have a couple of those around here and I have been looking for the perfect kit to scrap their photos. This one is it. It's gorgeous and so much fun to work with. From the papers to the little pail and shovel it's so fabulous! Below are the previews for all of Jess' new releases as well as my layouts using each product. All Aboard. . .

It's time for the annual Sweet Digi Scrap Favorite Kit Blog Train. Can you say that 10 times fast? Just kidding! The creative sweeties got together and made some stuff from our favorite Liz kits. My favorite Liz kit absolutely has to be Sibling Love. I love the papers and elements. I love how it's versatile enough for brothers, sisters, or the brother/sister combo. Mainly the last part well because I have a boy and a girl. I can see myself using this kit for several of the kids' layouts.

I have made a bonus alpha pack for you to go along with Sibling Love. If you have kids of your own or even brothers/sisters you need to be sure to head over to Liz's shop at GottaPixel. You will be sure to fall in love with her entire store. I know I have. Below is the preview of the alpha and the links to grab them. I've got them in 2 separate files for easier downloading.
