I completely love being a mom. Yes our life has its ups and its downs, but what is not to love about kids who love to snuggle up in your lap and love on you. What is not to love about seeing your childs face beaming with pride when they've accomplished something new and great? What is not wonderful about sneaking into your child(s) room(s) at night and watching them sleep so peacefully and angelic? What is not wonderful about seeing those perfect little smiles and the sparkle in their eyes?
I love playing games and watching my kid(s) create their masterpieces. I have been truly blessed. I love all of the madness even when I think I'm going to lose my mind. LOL It's what keeps my life fun and exciting. I can't imagine my life without these munchkins. Homer and I waited a long time before starting our family and I am so glad we did. We have 2 perfect (well in my eyes) children. Yes they don't always get along and they fight but you have to love it when they play so well together and when for no reason at all they just climb up into my lap and want to snuggle. I guess no matter how big they get they will always want mommy snuggle time.
Remember. . . No matter how crazy or mad your life gets always cherish the little things.
Until next time. . .

Summer Sun
I'm really late on getting this posted. So shame on me. I think when I have layouts that I need to promote I'll start setting up the options to post for me so I don't forget.
My latest creation was made using Summer Sun by Shel Belle Scraps. I love the colors of this kit. The papers are so much fun and the elements are fab. I'm so excited to be back on the CT for Shel. Be sure to head on over to her blog to pick up this fabulous kit.
Here is a preview to the kit.

And my layout I made with it.

Until next time. . .

Biker Dude
I took this pic of Shane about a month ago and just recently got to work with a kit that I thought was perfect for it. It's a collab called iRock by Steel City Scraps and simply.scraps. I adore this kit and the layout came together fabulously. I love the papers and elements in this kit. You can get this ROCKIN' boys kit at Inspiration Lane.
Here is the preview to the kit.

PT'ing Adventure
I am so excited about the success of potty training Shane. He hasn't had one accident in over a week. I can hardly believe it. He's not going poo in the training potty. He does that in the grown up potty. I just can't believe how fast he's picked up on it. I guess it's because he was truly ready this time around. I'm so glad I decided to wait longer to train him. I'm happy he's almost done before he turns 4 and before he starts school. He won't start school until 2010, but I'm definitely glad he's on the right track. We didn't do the "reward" system either. The only reward we gave him was the way to go we are so proud of you reward. Apparently, that was the only reward he needed. We did buy him a couple of new packages of undies after we were sure he was on the right track. So Daddy went to the store and got him a package of Cars undies and a package of Spider-Man undies. He was so excited that he wanted to wear a pair right away. We let him of course because we decided that if Shane was that excited about his undies then he would be more likely to not go poo in them. We were right. LOL I'm just so proud of him.
